This position blends strategic planning and tactical execution, requiring a deep understanding of brand marketing goals, translating them into actionable media strategies, and delivering measurable results. You will serve as a subject matter expert in media planning, audience tactics, and platform activation, managing day-to-day client interactions and contributing to revenue growth through strategic recommendations.
In this role, you will be supporting a portfolio of high-impact Consumables brands. You will work directly with these brand partners and their agencies, acting as a key strategic lead to drive growth in essential consumer categories through innovative media planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Consultative Partnership: Serve as a strong executor and consultative partner within a defined scope.
- Strategic Planning: Develop strategic plans and execute managed-service and self-service campaigns, acting as a consultative expert.
- Media Proposals: Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to develop strategic, data-driven media proposals aligned with client objectives.
- Client Leadership: Attend and lead external advertiser and agency calls, demonstrating expertise in media tactics, audience strategy, and campaign stewardship.
- Omnichannel Expertise: Deeply understand and apply media types, including paid search, programmatic display, direct digital sponsorships, CTV, social media, digital OOH, and experiential in-store tactics.
- Performance Reporting: Communicate campaign performance metrics, insights, and optimization recommendations regularly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to internal SLAs and QA processes, ensuring seamless campaign launches and high-quality client experiences.
- Revenue Growth: Confidently present strategic upsell recommendations to drive incremental revenue and demonstrate strong executive presence when presenting opportunities to clients and agencies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally to traffic campaigns effectively across various ad technology platforms.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve campaign issues promptly, ensuring optimal campaign performance.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related area.
- Experience: 3+ years managing digital media campaigns or consulting on digital campaigns across display, video, social, search, and programmatic.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital media metrics ($CPM, ROAS, CPC, CTR,$ etc.) and media math for optimization.
- Client Management: Proven client-facing experience with proactive risk identification and solution development.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong presentation skills.
- Project Management: Strong capabilities and the ability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
- Adaptability: High comfort navigating rapidly evolving environments and ambiguous situations.
- Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with Salesforce, JIRA, Tableau, SQL, and Power BI.
- Top Skills: Building strategic media plan recommendations and performance optimizations. Excellent follow-through and accountability across internal and external teams. High-level verbal and written communication.
- Day-to-Day Impact: Work with sales professionals to develop proposals and collaborate on quarterly business reviews (QBRs). Maintain relationships and manage day-to-day business with clients to identify growth opportunities. Lead campaign kick-offs and performance discussions.
