Communications Consultant (Strategic Advisory) | New York

We’re working with a high-growth, global communications advisory firm that sits at the intersection of technology, policy, and corporate reputation.

This is not a traditional PR agency role.

The team partners with technology companies, global investors, and senior leadership teams on complex, high-stakes communications challenges, ranging from regulatory environments and major transactions to reputation-critical moments.

The Role

This position sits at Consultant level (equivalent to Senior Account Executive / early Account Manager).

You’ll be:

• Advising clients on communications strategy and positioning
• Supporting the development of messaging, narratives, and executive communications
• Working across media, stakeholder, and policy-led communications
• Producing high-quality written materials (briefings, talking points, etc.)
• Managing workstreams and contributing to client delivery
• Collaborating closely with senior team members on complex, high-impact projects

This is a role where you’re expected to think, contribute, and engage with clients, not just execute.

What They’re Looking For

• 3–5 years’ experience in corporate communications / PR
• Strong agency background preferred
• Experience with media relations and client-facing work
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
• Interest in moving into a more strategic, advisory-led role

Experience across technology, healthcare, financial or regulated industries is a plus.
