Position Summary:Responsible for leading the Purchasing area at the COIS level, managing the team, and ensuring compliance with procurement objectives, policies, and procedures. Guarantees efficiency, quality, and cost optimization in acquisitions, collaborating with different departments to meet business needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the purchasing team, promoting professional development and achievement of goals.
- Define, implement, and monitor purchasing strategies, ensuring adherence to internal processes.
- Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best commercial conditions in terms of quality, price, and delivery times.
- Oversee the evaluation and selection of suppliers as well as the management of their performance.
- Monitor budget compliance and identify opportunities for savings and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate the issuance of purchase orders, ensuring correct documentation and follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable external regulations.
- Optimize processes and tools for efficient purchase management.
- Prepare reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the purchasing area.
- Foster collaboration with other departments (finance, operations, legal, etc.) to ensure satisfaction and alignment with organizational objectives.
