Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth across the DACH region by selling enterprise software solutions into large manufacturing organizations. This is a strategic hunter role focused on building relationships with senior stakeholders, managing complex sales cycles, and helping industrial customers advance their digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close.
- Build trusted relationships with C-level executives, plant leaders, and operational stakeholders.
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy targeting high-value manufacturing accounts.
- Identify expansion opportunities across multiple sites and global operations.
- Partner with pre-sales, product, and integration teams to deliver consultative solution selling.
- Build compelling business cases demonstrating operational and financial ROI.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM and structured qualification methodologies.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and executive networking engagements.
Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of enterprise B2B software sales experience within manufacturing, MES, PLM, or industrial technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of Industry 4.0, manufacturing operations, and supply chain environments.
- Proven success managing long, complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Experience with consultative and value-based sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Challenger.
- Strong knowledge of the German business environment and experience selling into engineering-led organizations.
- Native-level German and fluent English required.
- Willingness to travel across Germany and the DACH region.
