About Our Team
You will join a team of proactive and project-driven Strategic Sales Account Managers providing Legal & Compliance data solutions for corporate markets to corporate markets. The team develops expertise to support their customers whilst valuing teamwork and results.
About The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team in Tokyo. This role is crucial for maintaining and expanding relationships with LexisNexis’s existing customers in the corporate market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales quotas and client satisfaction objectives.
This position focuses on existing clients and new business development / generation.
Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
- Develop new corporate customers and businesses.
- Understand client needs and identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions that meet client requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their services and to resolve any issues.
- Upsell and cross-sell products and services to enhance customer accounts.
- Develop a thorough understanding of market conditions and competitive activities.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, renewal, and sales activity.
- Act as the client’s advocate internally to ensure project goals are met and services are delivered on time.
Requirements
- Bilingual Fluency in Japanese and business level English is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in account management, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
- Candidate should have interest in Legal and Compliance segments and
- A strong interest in technology and Artificial Intelligence is a much.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
