Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies and business plans for assigned key and strategic accounts
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key customers and executive decision-makers
- Proactively engage with new and existing customers through face-to-face meetings, phone, email, and digital channels to drive sales growth
- Deliver technical and scientific presentations and provide consulting on Bio-Techne’s products and solutions
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, and technical support to develop customized solutions and coordinate joint events
- Analyze customer and market data to identify priority accounts and focus sales efforts effectively
- Identify new business opportunities through cross-selling and upselling
- Represent Bio-Techne at industry events and conferences to build network and enhance brand presence
- Forecast and report account revenue and sales performance
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related fields (Master’s or MBA preferred)
- Over 5 years of account management, sales, or strategic planning experience in life sciences or biotech sectors
- Customer-centric mindset with strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Solid scientific and technical knowledge with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts
- Proven teamwork and leadership capabilities across cross-functional teams
- Data-driven analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Results-oriented with strong motivation to meet and exceed targets
- Experience in negotiating and presenting to senior executives is a plus
- Emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and personal growth
- Provides continuous mentoring, training, and career development support
