Senior Account Manager, Houseware

Our premiere wholesale houseware / home product client, is seeking dynamic account managers to join their team with experience in strategic account relationships with background ideally working with Walmart and/or Costco retailers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage customer account relationships
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Maximize sales profitability, growth and account penetration with current accounts
- Analyze and identify market trends to assess opportunities
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare reports on account status
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role with Walmart!
- Experience and understand of the housewares industry are a plus
- Walmart and/or Target Experience preferred
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
- Must be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment and be a self-starter
- Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel and Powerpoint)
