A SDR / Account Executive is required to join a rapidly scaling fintech start-up in New York, who are building modern financial tooling designed to support and empower small and medium-sized businesses.


This is a hands-on, fast paced sales role, for someone who is comfortable with high volume outbound cold calling, building pipelines from scratch, experimenting with new approaches, and consistently delivering against ambitious revenue targets.


Responsibilities:

  • Daily high volume outbound cold calling
  • Own-end to-end sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing
  • Focus on key SMB sectors, engage business owners directly and drive customer acquisition
  • Attend trade shows and visit prospective customers
  • Carry out Demos to prospective customers
  • Contribute to taking new products to market with the Product Leadership Team


Skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree from an Elite / Top Tier University is essential
  • 1+ years experience in a end-to-end sales role (prospecting, qualifying and closing deals)
  • Experience in high volume outbound cold calling would be beneficial
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Great interpersonal and customer-facing skills
  • Experience in working in fast-paced environment
  • Proven achievements in meeting and/or exceeding targets
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and driven with a strong ownership mindset


They are offering a package of $120K – $240K (50/50 base + commission), including uncapped commission, plus equity. In addition to this, they offer great benefits, including fully paid health, dental, and vision cover, paid tech equipment setup, and additional in-office benefits. The role is working fully onsite in their office in Manhattan.
