Senior Accounts Executive- Chandivali, Mumbai

About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to anchor our financial operations. You will ensure accurate financial accounting, statutory compliance, and export-related financial management while delivering MIS insights that drive smarter business decisions.

What You'll Do

• Financial Accounting & Book Closure
• Maintain books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Handle GL accounting, journal entries, provisions, and reconciliations
• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures within defined timelines
• Manage bank, debtor, creditor, and inventory reconciliations
• Export & Manufacturing Accounting
• Process export documentation accounting — invoices, packing lists, LC, and more
• Track foreign currency transactions and manage forex gain/loss accounting
• Coordinate with logistics and shipping for export-related financial records
• Monitor job costing and product costing for home textile products
• Statutory Compliance
• Ensure full GST compliance, including LUT-based export benefits and GST refunds
• Handle TDS/Income Tax filings and ROC filings as applicable
• Coordinate seamlessly with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits
• Payables & Receivables Management
• Monitor accounts receivable (especially export debtors) and drive timely collections
• Manage vendor payments and conduct aging analysis
• Maintain robust credit control mechanisms across the business
• MIS & Reporting
• Prepare and present Monthly MIS reports covering profitability and working capital
• Deliver product-wise and customer-wise profitability analysis
• Provide actionable insights on cost optimisation and variance analysis
• Banking & Treasury Support
• Handle banking transactions, LC documentation, and bank coordination
• Support cash flow planning and fund management initiatives
• Process Improvement & Controls
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure documentation is audit-ready at all times
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and compliance

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com — Mandatory
• CA Inter / CMA — Preferred (not mandatory)
• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or export-driven environment
