Financial Accountant (H/F/X)

We are looking for a Financial Accountant (H/F/X), for our client, an International Group company in Geneva, to join its Group Finance & Accounting team for a permanent role :

Mission:

• You will contribute to month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings, including journal entries, accruals and financial cut-offs
• You will prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure timely resolution with stakeholders
• You will support group reporting and ensure consistent accounting treatments across entities and processes
• You will coordinate with internal teams (AP/AR, Treasury, FP&A, Tax) to ensure accurate data flows and robust controls
• You will support statutory audits by preparing documentation, responding to queries, and ensuring audit readiness
• You will participate in process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and data quality

Profile:

• You have proven experience in accounting and financial reporting, ideally within an international environment
• You have an audit background (Big 4 or equivalent) or you have worked closely with auditors and enjoy technical topics
• You are fluent in English (mandatory) and you can work professionally in French (a strong plus)
• You are comfortable with ERP tools and advanced Excel, and you are able to manage large data sets with accuracy
• You are structured, proactive and reliable, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and multiple stakeholders
