External Destination Consultant

Join our Relocation Team in Denmark – as an External Destination Consultant

We are expanding our network of external Destination Consultants in the Aarhus area. This is a freelance, assignment-based role where you will collaborate closely with an Alfa Mobility Specialist or Mobility Consultant, who holds overall case responsibility. You will act as our local expert, delivering high-quality, on-the-ground services for relocating employees and their families.

Your role

In this role, you will deliver practical destination services directly with assignees – from home searches and registrations to school visits and settling-in support. You will work under the instructions of an Alfa Mobility Specialist or Mobility Consultant, who holds overall case responsibility and will brief you on scope, timeline and client needs for each assignment. Your role is to be the local expert who makes the arrival experience smooth and professional.

Assignments vary in frequency and scope depending on client needs and business volume. This suits professionals who are self-employed, run their own company, or are looking for a flexible hourly-paid role alongside other commitments.

What you will do

• Accompany assignees to property viewings and home searches; provide guidance on the Danish rental market
• Support registrations (CPR, tax, MitID) and appointments at public authorities
• Deliver local orientation tours and settling-in visits
• Assist with school and childcare searches
• Support move-in and move-out inspections
• Document services in our case management system and keep your Mobility Specialist or Consultant informed of progress and any issues

What we’re looking for

• Good knowledge of Aarhus, the local housing market and Danish public systems
• Experience in relocation, real estate, tourism or a similar client-facing field
• Structured and reliable; comfortable managing several assignees in parallel
• Professional English; Danish is a significant advantage
• Valid driving license and access to a car

Contract arrangements

We are open to both hourly employment and assignments with self-employed consultants or sole traders. The contract form will be agreed individually based on your situation and the nature of the work.
