What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3 years of professional experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, including networking, compute, and managed services.
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and distributed systems.
- Experience designing and operating observability stacks (logging, metrics, tracing) using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation best practices.
- Experience designing and operating database backup strategies.
- Proven ability to design and manage database backup and recovery processes.
- Fluent in English to communicate effectively with the UK team.

What are you going to do?
- The SRE will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and services supporting the bike rental platform.
- They will define and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, driving a culture of reliability across engineering teams.
- They will lead incident response, conduct blameless post-mortems, and implement systematic improvements to reduce toil and prevent recurrence.
- They will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and observability tooling to support fast, safe deployments.
- They will collaborate closely with backend, web, mobile, and product teams to embed reliability practices from design to production.
