Sales Account Manager

Position Overview

AMERICAN Castings is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding our presence across a variety of industries, including construction, agriculture, energy, heavy equipment, and fluid control.

With over 20 years of experience, AMERICAN Castings has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, precision-engineered iron castings. Our foundry blends tradition with innovation to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new markets, customers, and business opportunities
• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal teams
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
• Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure product specifications and timelines are met
• Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and technical presentations
• Track sales activity and maintain accurate CRM records

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in an iron foundry environment
• Strong technical knowledge of the iron casting process, including:
• Foundry tooling
• Common defects
• Machining fundamentals
• Proven ability to develop new business and close deals
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated, with strong follow-up discipline
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
