Position Overview

The Senior Account Manager at Hedy & Hopp is a pivotal role, directly impacting client success and agency growth. This individual will lead the management of key client accounts and projects, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and high-quality work that aligns with our mission to improve patient experiences.


The ideal candidate is someone who is a self-starter ready to manage multiple accounts and lead projects from start to finish while collaborating with strategy, project management, marketing intelligence and activation teams. To be successful you must be forward thinking, organized, self-motivated, and have excellent written and oral communication skills with a passion for building client relationships.


Responsibilities/Areas of Focus:

The key responsibilities will include daily engagement between the agency and client, oversight of projects, and building a valued client/agency relationship. As the Sr. Account Manager, you will provide key input in developing strategic marketing initiatives for clients and play a prominent role in presenting agency ideas and project deliverables. You will be responsible for understanding the challenges and opportunities the client faces in the marketplace and for gaining new business from existing clients.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships built on trust and mutual success
  • Keep apprised of clients’ brands, products, services, marketing developments, and business needs, and work in a proactive manner to address clients’ marketing challenges
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of client projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and profitability.
  • Lead daily client communications, ensuring clear, concise, and proactive updates in a dynamic environment
  • Present and confidently defend agency ideas and project deliverables to clients in partnership with appropriate cross-functional team members
  • Review and approve all agency-produced materials before client delivery, ensuring it delivers on client expectations and needs, as well as quality standards
  • Lead and collaborate in drafting estimates and statements of work, consistent with client process, for supervisory review
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for new business growth within existing client accounts
  • Continuously seek to enhance industry knowledge and skills through professional development


Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of relevant agency or client-side experience
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and confidence in driving client direction forward
  • Experience managing integrated marketing plans and programs
  • Proven experience in account management within an advertising agency, with a strong focus on paid media strategy and execution
  • Strong working knowledge of paid media strategy, platforms, and metrics to effectively lead accounts from a client management perspective and in collaboration with the internal media team
  • Ability to independently manage multiple complex accounts and projects across diverse client stakeholders
  • Experience presenting information to clients and/or key stakeholders within an organization
  • Attention to detail paired with the ability to see the big picture
  • Experience working with remote teams is a plus
