Sales Account Manager | Build Something, Don’t Just Maintain It

This is a well-established company just outside of Chicago with the foundation already in place — strong client relationships, a solid reputation, and consistent business. Now they need someone to take it and grow!


This isn’t a plug-and-play position.

They have long-standing relationships and a solid reputation in the market. What they need now is someone who can step in, take ownership of key accounts, build new business, and help shape how the sales function evolves as they scale.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and grow key strategic accounts - deepen relationships and expand revenue
  • Build and manage your own pipeline of new business
  • Act as a true partner to clients, not just a vendor
  • Help create structure around the sales process, reporting, and pipeline management
  • Represent the company in the market - events, meetings, and industry touchpoints


What They’re Looking For

  • 5–10+ years of B2B or relationship-driven sales experience
  • Print industry experience is ideal
  • Proven ability to both manage accounts and generate new business
  • Strong relationship builder, not transactional
  • Willingness to be in front of clients and represent the business externally
  • Location: On-site at our facility in Des Plaines, IL (northwest suburb, convenient commute from throughout Chicagoland via I-90/I-294 and Metra). When not traveling for client meetings or industry events, the role is based in the plant/office supporting production displays, team collaboration, and day-to-day account operations.
