It was the largest insurance deal in Singapore at the time. Singlife was subsequently acquired by Sumitomo Life in March 2024, one of Japan’s leading life insurers, which valued Singlife at S$4.6 billion, making the transaction one of the largest insurance deals in Southeast Asia.

Purpose Of Role

To focus on leading Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud operations, ensuring secure, resilient, and standardized service delivery through operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Microsoft 365 and Azure operations, delivering secure, resilient, and compliant cloud services.
• Design and manage Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity, access management, and enterprise application integration.
• Apply security hardening based on CIS benchmarks, conduct regular security assessments of Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, and drive continuous security enhancements.
• Operate and optimize Azure and M365 infrastructure, including monitoring, networking, storage, backups and restore.
• Automate cloud and M365 operations using PowerShell to improve efficiency and service reliability.
• Support and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) services, including user access, session host operations, application delivery, performance monitoring, and coordination with Microsoft Azure Cloud for platform stability and support.
• Drive cloud initiatives, stakeholder engagements, documentation, training, etc

Requirements

• Over 15 years in enterprise IT environments, with at least 10 years working in Microsoft Azure, cloud, and large-scale, regulated organizations.
• Strong hands ‑ on experience in Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure infrastructure, security, and operational support.
• Proven experience leading cloud or M365 operations teams and managing day ‑ to ‑ day service delivery.
• Demonstrated expertise in security hardening, compliance, audits, and governance across M365 and Azure platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast ‑ paced operational environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage technical, business, and audit teams effectively.
