Role Purpose

The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving overall business growth, branch P&L, team management, sourcing, credit quality, and operational excellence for secured lending products through DSA and direct channels while ensuring compliance with Aditya Birla Capital’s policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness & Revenue Management

  • Own and deliver branch business targets across secured loan products.
  • Drive DSA empanelment, activation, productivity, and retention.
  • Build strong local market connect for direct sourcing (builders, CA network, connectors, lawyers, SMEs).
  • Manage ticket sizes ranging from ?5L to ?3Cr based on geography and profile.
  • Monitor daily, monthly, and quarterly business performance and take corrective actions.

Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage sales and operations teams.
  • Ensure team productivity, capability building, and performance tracking.
  • Drive a strong sales culture with ethical practices.
  • Handle hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.

Credit Quality & Operations

  • Ensure adherence to credit underwriting norms and risk policies.
  • Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency, and early warning indicators.
  • Coordinate with credit, legal, and operations teams for timely disbursements.
  • Ensure minimal TAT and optimal customer experience.

Compliance & Control

  • Ensure branch compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation and process adherence across sourcing channels.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the single-point owner for the branch.
  • Collaborate with regional, credit, operations, and product teams.
  • Represent Aditya Birla Capital in the local market with high brand visibility.

Desired Candidate ProfileEducation

  • Graduate in any discipline
  • Postgraduate / MBA (Finance/Marketing) preferred

Experience & Skills

  • 5–12 years of experience in secured lending (NBFC/Banks/HFCs).
  • Proven experience in branch handling and team management.
  • Strong exposure to DSA channel management and direct sourcing.
  • Good understanding of secured loan products, credit evaluation, and documentation.
  • Strong local market knowledge of Thoothukudi / Tirunelveli preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with strong execution capability.
