The Senior Account Executive owns revenue growth across an assigned book of business by building deep, trust-based partnerships with agency investment leads and brand clients. This role is Kargo's primary commercial presence in the San Francisco and Northern West Coast markets — responsible for hunting new business, expanding existing relationships, and closing deals that move the number. Without this role, Kargo loses ground in one of its most strategically important markets.

Outcomes — What Success Looks Like in 6–12 Months

  • Quota attainment on assigned book of business — Achieves or exceeds individual quarterly and annual revenue targets through a combination of new business wins and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Active agency relationships built across the SF/West Coast market — Has established multi-threaded relationships with investment leads at priority holding companies and independents, reducing single-point-of-contact risk across the portfolio.
  • Pipeline discipline that forecasts accurately — Maintains a clean, current Salesforce pipeline that reflects real opportunity stages, enabling reliable revenue forecasting with minimal revision.
  • New product adoption driven through the book — Successfully introduces and closes at least two new or emerging Kargo products with existing clients, demonstrating consultative value beyond core offerings.
  • Market intelligence that shapes roadmap input — Delivers structured, actionable feedback from clients and the market to product and leadership on a recurring basis, influencing at least one meaningful positioning or roadmap decision.

Skills — Core Technical Capabilities

Required

  • 4+ years of experience selling digital advertising, with demonstrated expertise in CTV and programmatic
  • Established agency relationships across the San Francisco and Northern West Coast markets, with access to investment decision-makers
  • Proven track record of closing deals in a quota-carrying role
  • Ability to engage and influence at the senior agency and client level
  • Proficiency in Salesforce for pipeline management, forecasting, and activity documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build compelling proposals and ROI narratives

Preferred

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, research, and campaign teams to build proactive client solutions
  • Familiarity with Kargo's competitive landscape across premium mobile, CTV, and high-impact formats

In accordance with applicable federal, state, and local pay transparency laws, the anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education, and skills.

U.S Salary Range

$220,000—$280,000 USD
