Lead western U.S. sales growth for an industrial product business, managing rep networks, distributor relationships, pricing, market development, OEM accounts, and product opportunities across a broad regional territory.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales activity across the western half of the United States.
- Recruit, evaluate, train, and manage independent sales representative organizations.
- Develop OEM accounts, distributor relationships, and uncovered territories within the region.
- Establish pricing direction and support annual catalog development.
- Identify compatible product lines, new markets, and product development opportunities.
- Attend trade shows to expand market presence and monitor industry trends.
- Resolve customer issues involving returns, defects, credits, products, and manufacturing.
- Serve as liaison between vendors, sales representatives, customers, and internal operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3–5 years of sales and marketing experience required.
- Demonstrated record of successful sales performance required.
- Strong customer orientation with clear communication and service skills.
- Organized, self-directed professional with strong time management and analytical ability.
- Comfortable presenting, negotiating, using Microsoft Office, and learning business systems.
