Browse AI has empowered over 900,000 users globally with its AI-driven platform for web data extraction and monitoring. As we scale, we need somebody to close SMB and mid-market deals quickly while building the enterprise pipeline.

As our Junior AE, you'll build and own pipeline generation from the ground up - starting with outbound prospecting and inbound qualification, then progressively shifting into closing SMB and mid-market deals and seeding them for expansion. At the same time, you'll work directly with our Sr Account Executive to build an enterprise pipeline through inbound and outbound campaigns. You're part closer, part pipeline architect.

You'll collaborate closely with our VP of Marketing & Revenue, our Senior AE, our SDR, and our solutions engineering team. This role is fully remote and offers significant autonomy to sell, experiment, and build.

Key things you own

  • Building and scaling enterprise pipeline by identifying high-potential signups, self-serve expansion opportunities, running outbound campaigns, and testing new channels.
  • Closing SMB and mid-market inbound deals and seeding them for future enterprise expansion by understanding the broader data need, planting the next conversation, and creating a warm handoff when the account is ready to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise pipeline generation: Identify high-potential signups from our self-serve funnel that match enterprise profiles. Build target account lists. Design and execute outbound campaigns. Test new channels and approaches we haven't tried yet.
  • Expansion seeding: Understand the full scope of each account's data need, even when closing a smaller initial deal. Document the expansion opportunity and set the stage for a Premium conversation down the road.
  • SMB/mid-market closing: Run 30 to 50 discovery and demo calls per month. Close transactional and mid-market deals efficiently (fast cycle, clean handoff to CS, and a clear seed planted for what comes next).
  • Enterprise handoff: Qualify enterprise opportunities and hand them to our Senior AE with strong account context - what the prospect is trying to do, what they've already tried, and why now.
  • Use case diagnosis: Review each prospect's account activity and product usage (robots built, sites targeted, credits used, extraction status), and connect their data need to a clear offer path.
  • Deal scoping: Work with solutions engineers to scope more complex mid-market deals.
  • Pipeline management: Accurately forecast and maintain pipeline hygiene in Attio (our CRM).
  • Market intelligence: Surface product feedback, competitive intel, and market signals to marketing and product teams.

How This Role Evolves

This isn't a role where you inherit a full pipeline on day one. Early on, you'll spend most of your time on outbound prospecting, qualifying inbound signups, and building the pipeline you'll eventually close. As that pipeline matures and inbound volume grows, the balance shifts toward closing and expansion seeding.

To be successful in this role, you need a combination of closing ability, data literacy, and business acumen. You should be someone who's equally comfortable converting a quick transactional deal and running a consultative enterprise sales cycle. You thrive in a startup environment where building something new excites you.

This is an especially strong fit if you're a high-performing BDR or SDR who's ready to step into a closing role and wants to bring your prospecting skills with you.

The right candidate will join Browse AI with the ability to speak credibly to both technical data teams and non-technical business operators while connecting what Browse AI does to business outcomes that matter.

Required Skills And Experience

  • 1–2 years in SaaS or tech sales, whether that's closing experience as a junior AE, or a strong track record as an SDR/BDR ready to move into a closing role.
  • Comfortable handling both fast transactional deals and longer consultative sales cycles in parallel.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - you're excited about building a channel from scratch, not just working one that already exists.
  • Data literate - comfortable working in spreadsheets and thinking in terms of structured data. You can talk intelligently about how a company might use extracted web data for pricing decisions, lead generation, competitive monitoring, or market research.
  • Strong business acumen - can connect a prospect's data need to a business outcome like revenue protection, competitive advantage, or operational efficiency. Comfortable talking to directors, VPs, and ops leads about value and ROI, not just features.
  • Understands the difference between selling to an individual user and selling into an organization with stakeholders, budgets, and procurement.
  • Excellent written communication - a lot of your early outreach is email-first, and personalized emails are how we build trust.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling data products, web scraping tools, or B2B SaaS.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, real estate, recruiting, or financial services verticals (our highest-value segments).
  • Experience in a PLG environment where self-serve and sales-led motions coexist.
  • Any outbound experience (even if it was scrappy and self-directed).
  • Comfort with tools like PostHog, Customer.io, Attio, or other product analytics and CRM platforms.

  • OTE for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 including competitive base salary with OTE based on commission structure
