Valeo’s VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

As part of the Renault/Horse Power Division Sales Team, we are looking for a Key Account Manager Junior for 24 months.

In the scope of the VIE, the position will be localized in the Fuenlabrada site (belonging to the Power Division) based in Spain.

Your challenges?

In his/her role of Key Account Manager Support, he/she will be the commercial interface with the Renault/Horse purchasing department for EMS, AIES and Transmission Commodities.

Regarding supervision, the Key Account Manager Junior will report directly to the Customer Director (N+1) and the Division Customer Director (N+2), both located in France.

  • You monitor sales performance, margins, and KPIs to support decision-making
  • You prepare quote proposals for Key Account Managers (KAM) in alignment with customer requirements
  • You prepare detailed cost breakdowns in close cooperation with Site Finance
  • You contribute to Budget/MTP preparation
  • You analyze pricing structures and support profitability optimization
  • You manage customer accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • You coordinate internally with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth order processing
  • You support contract management and ensure compliance with commercial agreements
  • Being close to customer HQ, you play a local role to support the full team (organizing meetings, prototypes delivery etc…)

Let’s Talk About You…

  • You are graduated with a Master Degree in Business Administration
  • You have 2 years of experience in sales or account management in the automotive industry or similar industry
  • You have a fluent level of English and Spanish is a plus (additional languages are a plus)
  • You have strong communication skills, an international mindset, and are open-minded toward new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
  • You are autonomous, humble, a good listener, positive, professional, and diplomatic
  • Knowledge of Excel skills is mandatory
