Head of Global IT Service Desk

More specifically, you will be:
- Defining and executing the Global IT Service Desk strategy, including SLAs, KPIs, and service quality standards
- Leading and developing IT support teams across locations, fostering a strong service-oriented culture
- Ensuring efficient incident, service request, problem, change, and asset management operations
- Driving continuous improvement, automation, and performance monitoring across IT services
- Managing the full lifecycle of employee hardware and software to ensure a reliable and high quality user experience
You should expect approximately 10–20 days of travel annually in this position.

With a direct reference to our Vice President of Digital Kamstrup Solutions, you will lead a team dedicated to enhancing productivity, collaboration, and the end-user experience across Kamstrup. The team consists of 13 dedicated colleagues located in Denmark and Spain. In the team you can expect a collaborative and grounded culture with a strong focus on knowledge sharing, mutual trust, and continuous improvement.

We are seeking an exceptional and proactive leader with a strong delivery focus, a customer‑oriented mindset and documented experience in successfully leading teams across borders and cultures in a global environment.
You motivate teams to develop their capabilities and make full use of IT tools to create value. Through collaboration, you drive change toward shared objectives. With a structured and analytical approach and a positive, constructive attitude, you continuously improve processes and ensure the delivery of high‑quality IT services. Your strong communication and problem‑solving skills enable you to engage, empower, and inspire your team while ensuring efficiency and compliance.
In order to succeed, we imagine that you have:
- Experience with managing IT support operations, systems, processes, and external vendors
- Proven experience defining, measuring, and managing SLAs and KPIs to ensure service quality
- Experience with leading and developing IT support teams, including managing people across countries and cultures in a global environment
- Strong working knowledge of modern IT workplace technologies and end‑user support with a service‑oriented mindset
- Experience with IT operations frameworks such as ITIL will be considered an advantage.
