With a solid history of innovation and long experience in the optics and photonics industry, we are entering an exciting new growth phase and we’re now looking for an ambitious Sales Account Manager to join our team.

As our new Sales Account Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence across the Nordic region. We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven individual who enjoys identifying new opportunities, opening doors with new customers, and building strong, long-term relationships.

In this role, your primary focus will be to drive new business and grow our customer base by introducing advanced photonics solutions to companies across the Nordic market. You will actively identify and pursue new opportunities, develop existing accounts, and drive customer success by offering tailored solutions from our extensive product portfolio. The position requires a consultative sales approach and close interaction with engineers, researchers, and decision-makers in highly technical environments.

You will be part of a small, dedicated and collaborative Nordic team, while also working closely with colleagues across our global organization from development and product management to marketing and other key functions. This role offers a unique combination of local ownership and international collaboration, where your expertise and commercial drive will play a direct role in shaping our continued growth.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive and grow sales activities across the Nordic region, ensuring strong market presence for our products and services
  • Identify, engage, and develop new customers and market segments, with a proactive and opportunity‑focused approach
  • Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing customers and partners
  • Represent LASER COMPONENTS at industry events, including trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings
  • Provide valuable customer and market insights to support product management, development teams, and strategic decision‑making within our global organization

Your Profile

  • Highly self-motivated and proactive, with a structured approach to identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities
  • Proven competence in photonics, optics, electronics, or high‑tech components
  • Experience with complex, long‑cycle B2B sales, strategic partnerships, and high‑value deals is an advantage for the role
  • Comfortable with and motivated by a travel-intensive work schedule
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage effectively in discussions about technical products and specifications with engineers or R&D teams, as well as commercial terms and contracts with senior procurement managers and executive management
  • You enjoy being part of an international team where collaboration with colleagues drives innovation, customer value, and outstanding results
