Backed by ScOp Venture Capital (led by DoubleClick founder Kevin O’Connor) and serial entrepreneur Larry Kim (who sold WordStream for $150M), we’re growing quickly and building a GTM team of seasoned closers who know how to win.
The Role
We generate a high volume of inbound interest from fast-growing Shopify merchants and DTC brands actively looking for a retention and identity solution. Your job is to convert that interest into closed revenue quickly and consistently while providing thought leadership.
This is a full-cycle closing role. You’ll own deals from first call through contract, working warm inbound leads while also supplementing pipeline through your own network, agency relationships, and ecosystem channels. We’ll teach you the product. You already know how to sell.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Work a high-velocity inbound pipeline of Shopify and DTC brands, running discovery, demos, and proposals with speed and precision.
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact to close, ensuring a seamless handoff to Customer Success.
- Supplement inbound with self-generated pipeline through LinkedIn, Slack communities, agency partners, and DTC events.
- Communicate CustomersAI’s value across identity resolution, lifecycle revenue lift, paid media efficiency, and onsite conversion.
- Collaborate with agency and integration partners to generate referrals and co-selling opportunities.
- Maintain excellent CRM hygiene, forecast accurately, and flag deal risks early to GTM leadership.
- Help shape the sales playbook, what’s working, what’s not, and how we improve conversion at every stage.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of full-cycle SaaS, MarTech, adtech, or eCommerce sales experience — you’ve been here before and you know how to close.
- Proven track record of exceeding quota in a closing role; references who will speak to your ability to convert pipeline into revenue.
- Consultative seller who listens first, diagnoses well, and earns trust quickly — especially with founder-led and operator-run brands.
- Strong understanding of Shopify, Klaviyo, and the broader DTC ecosystem.
- Fluent in the metrics that matter to eCommerce operators: LTV, retention rate, email revenue attribution, Meta ads, etc.
- Highly organized with clean CRM habits and accurate forecasting — you don’t lose deals to follow-up failures.
- Genuine enthusiasm for the DTC world and the operators, agencies, and the conversations that shape it.
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where the playbook is still being written.
