Digital Marketing Account Manager (Client-Facing Role)
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ (Hybrid / In-Office)
Type: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
Additional Compensation: After 12 months of managing an account, account managers receive a percentage of that client’s monthly retainer as a retention bonus
About the Role
You’ve probably been the person doing everything: SEO, content, reporting, maybe even ads.
This role is different.
You’ll still own the outcome, but now you’ll have a team behind you.
Sagapixel is a healthcare-focused digital marketing agency built around one thing: driving measurable results. Not vanity metrics. Not busy work. Rankings, traffic, leads, and growth.
This is not a pure project management role.
You will be expected to understand strategy, evaluate work, and confidently communicate what we’re doing and why.
Who This Role Is For
You’ll likely be a strong fit if:
- You’ve worked in-house or at a smaller company
- You’ve worn multiple hats (SEO, content, ads, reporting)
- You understand how different marketing efforts connect
- You’re ready to shift from execution → ownership and strategy
What You’ll Do
- Own client relationships and lead monthly/quarterly calls
- Act as the primary point of contact across accounts
- Align work to client goals and business outcomes (not just tasks)
- Coordinate with SEO, content, and dev teams to move work forward
- Review and QA content, landing pages, and deliverables before they reach the client
- Track performance (rankings, traffic, leads) and communicate:
- What’s working
- What’s not
- What we’re doing next
- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities across accounts
- Ensure budgets are aligned with priorities and impact
What This Role Is NOT
You are not:
- Writing content
- Doing technical SEO
- Building websites
You are responsible for making sure those things get done correctly, strategically, and aligned with results.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5+ years in digital marketing (agency or in-house)
- Solid understanding of:
- SEO fundamentals (content, intent, internal linking, site structure)
- Basic marketing channels (content, paid, etc.)
- Analytics (GA4, GSC, or similar)
- Strong communication skills (client-facing is a core part of the role)
- Ability to prioritize across multiple accounts
- Someone who takes ownership and doesn’t “pass tasks along.”
- Comfortable evaluating work, not just coordinating it

Expectations
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Time tracking is required (~6.5 hours/day of client work)
