Develop Japan's Go-To-Market Strategy!
As the primary marketing lead for Japan, the successful candidate will bridge the gap between local Sales Leadership and Global/APAC Marketing organisations to drive brand awareness, demand generation, and revenue growth. This role requires a proactive leader who can optimize targeting and messaging to reflect unique customer needs while ensuring local execution is aligned with global standards.
As the Senior Manager of Field Marketing, you will be responsible for:
- Spearheading a localized Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy by orchestrating collaboration across Sales, SDR, Presales, and Global teams to adapt international frameworks for the Japanese enterprise market.
- Driving sustainable revenue growth for both New Logo acquisition and Install Base expansion by executing campaigns informed by deep competitive analysis and current industry trends.
- Architecting integrated demand generation and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs, collaborating closely with Sales and SDR leadership to optimize lead-to-opportunity workflows and conversion rates.
- Maintaining rigorous oversight of mission-critical KPIsincluding pipeline velocity, sourced revenue, and ROIto drive data-informed decision-making and demonstrate clear business impact to stakeholders.
- Owning and optimizing the Japan marketing budget, ensuring disciplined resource allocation and regular communication of results to executive leadership.
- Leading strategic alignment with Tier-1 Channel Partners and Cloud partners, engaging with their executive teams to develop and execute joint co-marketing strategies.
- Leading and mentoring a multi-disciplinary team across Digital, Field, and Channel functions, fostering cross-functional synergy and overseeing the full talent lifecycle to ensure high-quality execution.
- Directing external agencies and vendors to drive operational excellence, ensuring that all outsourced marketing programs are executed with high-ROI and rigorous performance standards.
- Have 10+ years of marketing experience in the IT sector (Cloud/Security preferred), with 5+ years in a leadership or people management role.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to build proactive annual plans and GTM strategies from the ground up, moving beyond tactical execution.
- Possess exceptional ability to influence senior-level stakeholders and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Have hands-on experience with Salesforce, Marketo, and Tableau to manage and analyze marketing performance.
- Possess Native-level Japanese and business-level English (capable of negotiating and reporting in a global corporate environment).
