The SciY division is in the path of designing a new scientific software tools environment. This division is highly specialized in providing state of the art tools and focusses on developing the lab of the future by taking advantage of the possibilities AI offers.
Responsibilities
New opportunity within the SciY division of Bruker for a Senior Sales Account Manager to manage and expand targeted business relationships with prospects and clients, including development and implementation of strategy, sales plan, and forecasts for overall business development, sales, account management, and successful product delivery.
- Achieve sales target and goals
- Close sales operation activities
- Create and maintain excellent relationships with key customers
- Active participation in representative events, conferences, workshops to develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Develop product specifications and interact with SciY’s scientific and development teams to ensure product specifications are understood and followed to meet customer needs.
- Assist customers with the development of proficiency in the use of SciY products and the integration of those products into their organizational workflows.
- Perform other duties as required.
- BS Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Bioinformatics, Cheminformatics or related STEM field. Master Degree or PhD in related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 5 years hands-on and recent work experience with a proven successful track record of driving sales in SaaS business development, Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) workflows and automation.
- Advanced knowledge and deep understanding of laboratory software used by SciYs target customers.
- Excellent verbal, written, computer, interpersonal, analytical, technical communication, demonstration, and presentation skills including English language fluency, advanced MS Excel and Office proficiency, and proven working knowledge of client software systems. Additional language fluency desirable.
- Proven ability to effectively and seamlessly coordinate with highly specialized technical colleagues and customers to share constructive input, adapt, build collaborative and supportive work relationships
- Demonstrated ability to teach others how to use and navigate products offered
- Proven ability to prioritize customer care: proactively coordinates with colleagues to address customer needs and conducts business in a professional, timely, supportive, and courteous manner
- Operates with a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism
- Ability to satisfactorily complete position training and compliance requirements
- Ability to maintain current knowledge of company products, tools, and applications
- Reliable transportation and valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
- Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel.
- May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
