What we’re looking for: Senior Account Supervisor, Corporate Reputation with experience working in highly-regulated environments.
What you bring to the table: As an integral member of the team, you will lead the development and execution of strategic PR plans while serving as the day-to-day lead for several of the agency’s most important corporate clients. The ideal candidate is a seasoned corporate communications professional with experience operating in highly regulated environments and engaging effectively with senior corporate stakeholders.
In this role, you will drive work across messaging development, stakeholder and corporate influencer identification and management, and work on the creation of integrated, omnichannel campaigns. A strong understanding of complex industries and the ability to navigate nuanced corporate landscapes are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Daily client lead; Serves as a senior partner and trusted collaborator for clients in the healthcare and public health space
- Oversees ongoing editorial content development for clients, from thematic planning and story identification to SME and senior executive interviews, drafting and editing
- Understands and retains client goals; translates to strategic plans and development of messaging and content customized for healthcare audiences across diverse stakeholder groups, e.g., HCPs, patient groups, policymakers, investors and pharma industry peers
- Maintains an expert-level knowledge of client narratives, messaging, and tone and voice, and works to apply these across all deliverables
- Helps develop strategic and tactical annual corporate comms plans – inclusive of goals, objectives, strategies and tactics – and plays an integral role in the research, planning and execution of these programs and campaigns
- Oversees operational performance of accounts, ensuring work quality, deadline adherence and budget management
- Identifies opportunities to collaborate with clients and colleagues to drive efficiencies across the team by proactively strengthening operational processes
- Contributes to new business process, including identifying new business opportunities and organic growth for existing clients/accounts
- Oversees junior staff’s work products to ensure quality and consistency and actively helps mentor, coach and support team members
- Possesses a strong understanding of MSL’s positioning and goals; emulates behaviors consistent with MSL’s values
Requirements/Skills:
- 6+ years of relevant experience in journalism, public relations, communications and/or related fields
- Proven ability to manage editorial workflows and newsrooms
- A comprehensive understanding of clients’ businesses and their objectives, as well as their key stakeholders, e.g., HCPs, patients, employees, investors, regulators, media, partners and peers
- Exceptional communications skills, particularly in long-form content
- Proven ability to manage large projects and small teams on one or more sizable accounts or equivalent
- Working knowledge of digital integrated comms and/or the healthcare media space a plus
- Ability to mentor, coach and support junior team members and manage direct reports
Compensation Range: $91,000-$154,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
