Are you looking to grow your career in Brand Management? Do you want to join a dynamic team with a proven track record of internal growth and career advancement opportunities? We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Brand Manager to join our Marketing team, based in Newmarket, New Zealand.

Key Position Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

  • Lead the digital transformation of the ecommerce platform, including website enhancements and marketing automation rollouts to improve customer experience and performance.
  • Develop and deliver product and packaging updates from concept through to implementation, ensuring strong cross-functional alignment.
  • Provide strategic category and brand growth recommendations using research tools, insights, and performance reporting.
  • Drive end-to-end NPD processes, including business case preparation, launch execution, and post-launch reviews.
  • Develop and implement approved advertising, POS, publicity, and consumer promotion plans in line with brand objectives.
  • Manage key commercial levers including monthly A&P spend, promotional planning, and delivery of compelling point-of-sale campaigns.
  • Build and maintain collaborative partnerships across functions and external stakeholders (e.g., AFC, global teams, QSRs, national contracts, My Food Bag) to accelerate innovation and deliver high-visibility activations and LTOs.
  • Lead events and activations (e.g., mini tradeshows), champion AFH priorities within NZ (including sustainability initiatives such as Wattie’s sauce sachets), and support export execution through sales kits and new SKU setup—while complying with all Food Safety, EHS, Ethics, HR policies and upholding company values.

About You

  • Strong project management capability across NPD, product renovation, and advertising delivery (from planning through execution).
  • Highly analytical with proven ability to translate data into insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, able to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing expectations.
  • Proactive problem-solver who thinks creatively, with resilience and adaptability when navigating setbacks
  • High standards and continuous improvement mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal), able to influence and align stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent practical experience); relevant certifications desirable (e.g., Google Analytics/Ads, SEO, HubSpot/Marketo, Salsify/PIM, Agile/PRINCE2).
  • Strong and proven brand management experience in FMCG or similar industry; sales experience is advantageous.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia or New Zealand – with full working rights
