Business Development & Revenue Cycle Management Consultant

Location: Remote – United States

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly connected Business Development & Revenue Cycle Management Consultant to support the growth of our healthcare services business across the United States. This role is ideal for professionals with an established network of healthcare providers, medical groups, clinics, hospitals, or billing clients who can generate new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), healthcare operations, medical billing services, or healthcare business development, along with the ability to independently acquire and manage client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the healthcare industry.
  • Leverage existing industry relationships and client networks to generate Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) business.
  • Bring in new clients including:
  • Physician practices
  • Medical groups
  • Hospitals
  • Ambulatory surgery centers
  • Clinics
  • Healthcare organizations
  • Promote company services related to:
  • Medical billing
  • Accounts receivable management
  • Insurance verification
  • Coding support
  • Denial management
  • Revenue cycle optimization
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person client meetings when required.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, industry contacts, and market outreach.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain awareness of healthcare industry trends and RCM market opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed revenue generation targets.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and/or healthcare business development.
  • Existing network of healthcare clients and industry contacts preferred.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Medical billing
  • Claims processing
  • Denial management
  • Healthcare operations
  • RCM workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and close deals independently.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to travel within the United States as needed for client meetings and business development activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with:
  • Medical billing companies
  • Healthcare consulting firms
  • Physician practice management
  • Healthcare BPO services
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations.
  • Existing book of business or active healthcare client portfolio is highly preferred.

Work Location

  • Remote – Candidates can be located anywhere within the United States.
  • Travel may be required for client meetings, conferences, and business development activities.
