About
LH2 Data Labs (lh2.ai) licenses proprietary datasets and verified expert networks to frontier AI labs and enterprise buyers. We source rights-cleared data - code, multilingual text, audio, medical - from populations and domains underrepresented in public corpora, and pair it with vetted domain experts.
The role

We're hiring an EiR to own one of our verticals end-to-end - and run it like their own business.
Each vertical at LH2 is exactly that: a small business with its own buyers, supply economics, quality bar, and growth roadmap. You'll own both sides of it.
On the supply side, you'll go out and build the moat - sourcing the data assets, building the expert bench, and setting the quality standard that lets us sell into frontier labs. On the demand side, you'll co-own buyer conversations with the founders, bringing the depth of the vertical into pitches, scoping calls, and post-sale relationships.
In between sits the operating engine - projects shipped, quality held, margin protected. That's yours to build and run.
Key responsibilities
Vertical strategy
- Own the vertical's roadmap - which sub-segments to prioritise, what to build next, what to say no to
- Define the positioning, pricing posture, and competitive view for the vertical
- Run the strategic reviews - what's working, what's not, where to double down
Supply: data network
- Source new data assets relevant to the vertical - companies, archives, publishers, institutions, individual contributors
- Build and grow the expert bench: identify, recruit, credential, and retain top domain experts
Co-owning the commercial motion
- Partner with founders on buyer conversations, bring vertical depth into pitches and scoping calls
- Translate buyer requirements into spec - coverage, formats, evaluation criteria, rights, pricing inputs
What we're looking for
- 2–5 years in operating, strategy, consulting, or program roles - ideally where you've owned a function or a P&L line, not just a project
- Comfortable moving between strategy and execution - can frame the bet and ship the work
- Strong commercial instinct paired with operating depth
- Sharp writer and clear communicator - can hold their own with founders, partners, and technical buyers
- High ownership; comfortable in fast, ambiguous environments
Bonus
- Prior exposure to AI, data, expert networks, or marketplaces
- Background in consulting, strategy at a high-growth startup, founder’s office or operating roles at a B2B company
