About the Role
Getac is a global leader in rugged computing solutions, supporting industries such as utilities, mining, transport, public safety, defense, logistics and field services.
We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Manager to help grow our presence across Australia and New Zealand. This role suits someone with experience in the IT channel ecosystem and exposure to enterprise customers. Experience in hardware, mobility or enterprise IT solutions will be highly regarded. You will work closely with partners, resellers and end customers to identify opportunities, support projects and drive sales growth across multiple industries.
This is a remote role with regular travel across ANZ.
Key Responsibilities
- Achievement of sales plan
- Develop new business opportunities across targeted industries and accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with partners, resellers and customers
- Support customer meetings, demonstrations, proof of concepts and project opportunities
- Work with internal technical and product teams to support customer requirements
- Maintain pipeline, forecasts and account activity within CRM
- Support trade shows, partner activities and marketing initiatives
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
- Prepare quotations, presentations and opportunity updates
Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years experience in B2B technology sales, business development or account management
- Experience working with distributors, resellers, system integrators or enterprise customers
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, hands-on and commercially driven
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
- Flexible and willing to support a variety of business activities across sales, marketing and partner engagement
- Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to travel across ANZ and support occasional calls outside standard office hours
- Experience maintaining pipeline and opportunity activity within CRM platforms such as Salesforce
- Full working rights in Australia and based within reasonable access to a major airport
