Forsyth Barnes is hiring Account Executives to join our growing New York office in a recruitment sales role. You’ll use your sales skills to build client relationships, develop your own market, source candidates, manage processes, and close placements.
We’re the #1 global recruiter in the eTail technology space, working with brands including Macy’s, Nike, Lululemon, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s and more.
What you’ll do
- Build and develop relationships with hiring managers and senior decision-makers
- Generate new business through calls, LinkedIn, email, networking, and targeted outreach
- Develop your own specialist market within technology recruitment
- Source and headhunt candidates for live client requirements
- Manage client and candidate conversations throughout the process
- Negotiate offers, close placements, and earn commission
This is not a passive account management role. It’s a target-driven, full-cycle sales role where you’ll be trained to manage both the client and candidate side of recruitment.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for early-career salespeople who want a bigger opportunity.
You may currently be an Account Executive, Junior Account Executive, Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative, Inside Sales Representative, Sales Representative, Lead Generator, Real Estate Agent, Automotive Sales Executive, or similar.
Ideal profile:
- 6+ months’ sales or target-driven experience
- Outbound sales experience preferred
- Confident speaking to new people
- Comfortable building relationships with decision-makers
- Competitive, resilient, and self-motivated
- Driven by money, progression, and long-term career growth
- Coachable and open to feedback
