Reports To: Director, Product Management (Identity Solutions)

Your role:

Freight brokers put an incredible amount of trust in Highway and that trust will be extended to you. The Product Manager will be responsible for executing the product strategy with heart, hustle, and a sense of urgency.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute and deliver on key milestones on the product strategy that aligns with Highway’s overall business goals.
  • Define product requirements, prioritize features and deliver on timelines.
  • Translate business objectives and user insights into clear, actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and momentum
  • Collaborate with engineers to balance speed, quality, and technical feasibility in product decisions
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, business impact, and technical constraints
  • Act as the voice of the customer by leveraging feedback, data, and market research
  • Drive end-to-end product development from discovery through launch and iteration
  • Partner with development teams to proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, and help remove them
  • Ensure clear, consistent communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure successful product adoption
  • Analyze product performance using data and metrics to inform decisions and improvements
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous product enhancement
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes to internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies relevant to Highway


Qualifications

  • Experienced product manager with a proven track record of successfully meeting business requirements on product delivery and timelines.
  • Background in the logistics and transportation industry and/or knowledge of logistics software systems is a preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Comfortable working with tools such as SQL, Jira, Salesforce, Figma and Intercom.
  • Eagerness to get in the weeds and sweat the details.
  • Experience with the agile methodology in the software development life cycle.
  • Track record working closely with developers and other technical team members.
  • Demonstrated ability in excellent decision quality, critical thinking, and creative problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • Strong ability to take direction and execute in order to meet business deadlines.
