About Operations

The Operations team is the core function behind smooth processes and reliable daily operations, ensuring that all business activities run efficiently and seamlessly. This team plays a critical role in executing and maintaining day-to-day processes, monitoring performance, and continuously improving operational workflows to support business growth.


Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Business, Product, Customer Support, and Risk, the Operations team ensures service quality, resolves operational issues, and maintains high standards across all processes. They are also responsible for identifying inefficiencies, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.


About the role

We are looking for a Merchant Partnership to drive the acquisition and growth of high-impact merchants for DANA’s online payment solutions. This role focuses on building strategic partnerships with top-tier and priority merchants, enabling seamless payment integration, and expanding DANA’s digital ecosystem.


You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure efficient onboarding, strong relationship management, and continuous optimization of merchant acquisition strategies.


You'll be working on:

  • Identify, generate, and prioritize leads for key strategic and wishlist merchant accounts
  • Drive end-to-end merchant acquisition, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and partners to ensure long-term collaboration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, legal, compliance, operations) to support onboarding and integration processes
  • Improve internal processes to accelerate onboarding SLA and enhance merchant experience
  • Conduct analysis and reporting on pipeline performance, conversion, and growth opportunities
  • Continuously refine sales pitch, value proposition, and go-to-market strategies based on insights and feedback
  • Proactively identify challenges and implement solutions to unlock opportunities and remove blockers


Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in fintech, banking, payments, payment gateway, sales, business development, or partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of online payment ecosystems (web and in-app), including payment gateways, business models, and regulatory considerations.
  • Proven ability to manage partnerships and handle negotiations to achieve win-win outcomes.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to structure ideas into actionable plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate constraints and find practical solutions.
  • Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong empathy for users and focus on solving real problems.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal), with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
