Key Responsibilities
- You will be the backbone of our hotel's operations, ensuring all systems and equipment run smoothly for our guests' comfort and safety.
- Your daily tasks will include managing maintenance staff, overseeing repairs and upgrades, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and codes.
- You will report to the General Manager.
- Starting as a chief engineer can lead to a variety of opportunities within the hospitality industry, such as regional engineering director, director of rooms, or even a corporate-level position in hotel operations.
- A college degree or two years of hotel experience
- Previous experience in this exact position
- Previous experience in a similar or related position
- A combination of education and experience
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
