Qualifications

  • MS Office experience with the ability to utilize Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point
  • Trouble Shooting Experience with Structured Cabling and/or SMB Phone Systems
  • Valid Drivers License and Reliable Transportation
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Ability to work Full Time or Over Time any hours necessary
  • Some overnight travel is required

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintain system documentation and departmental procedures
  • Pulling/Terminating/Testing of Low Voltage Cabling (CAT 5/5e/6/6a and Fiber Optics)
  • Installing J Hooks, Dressing Cable, or Building Racks Dressing Communication Closets / Patch Panels or Punching 66 and/or 110 Blocks
  • Terminating Phone or Data Jacks (RJ45, RJ6, RJ11, etc.)
  • Servicing T-1’s and other Phone Lines Phone Systems (PBX-Key Systems (Avaya/Nortel/NEC)
  • Conducting Customer Walk-Through’s/Site Surveys
  • Trouble Shooting Experience with Structured Cabling and/or SMB Phone Systems
  • Valid Drivers License and Reliable Transportation
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Ability to work Full Time or Over Time any hours necessary

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in both an office setting as well as in the field.
  • The office is a temperature controlled environment.
  • The field conditions will vary depending upon the project/work being done.
