Account and Relationship Manager – Global Custody and Private Label Funds Clients (80–100%)
As part of a small, dynamic, and client-focused team, you will be responsible for the comprehensive servicing of strategically important institutional clients in German-speaking Switzerland.
YOUR ROLE
- Comprehensive client servicing for Global Custody and Private Label Funds clients (including troubleshooting) across the following areas:
- custody services, fund accounting, transfer agency activities, banking infrastructure services, business process outsourcing, etc.
- Acting as the main interface between clients and various internal stakeholders in Zurich, Geneva, and Luxembourg (fund management, fund accounting, securities operations, IT, legal, tax, etc.), as well as external third parties (asset managers, auditors, consultants, etc.).
- Independent management of a wide range of client projects and business analysis tasks, such as:
- launch of investment funds, preparation of proposals for new products, service reviews, technical implementation of regulatory requirements, analysis of client needs, etc.
- Independent preparation and follow-up of client meetings (steering committees, operational meetings, etc.), as well as leading and/or participating in those meetings.
- Drafting, maintenance, and ongoing management of contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with clients.
- Preparation of client and fee invoices and execution of fee checks.
- Opening and maintenance of client and account relationships, ensuring complete and compliant documentation, and updating account documentation and contracts in line with internal banking policies.
- Support in the execution of various operational activities, such as cash management, payment transactions, settlement and monitoring of internally and externally traded FX transactions, as well as options and futures. Coordination and booking of transactions related to non-custodied assets (e.g. private equity, infrastructure investments, real estate, etc.).
- Contribution to the preparation and quality control of monthly and quarterly client-specific investment reports (in particular fund factsheets) for both traditional and alternative investments.
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed banking apprenticeship with a vocational baccalaureate and further education (e.g. Certified Banking Specialist HF, CFA / AZEK) or a university degree.
- At least five years of professional experience in the financial sector, ideally in servicing institutional clients.
- Broad professional knowledge in asset servicing (e.g. securities, financial markets, back- and middle-office, investment advisory services). Experience working with external asset managers and/or Global Custody or fund clients is an advantage.
- Strong interest in the fund business, operational processes, and investment topics, combined with a strong affinity for figures and regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Very good user-level proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong client- and needs-oriented mindset, high quality awareness, and a precise, structured, and independent working style.
- Team-oriented, committed, and communicative personality with strong interpersonal skills and a high level of flexibility.
- German as a native language and very good command of English, both written and spoken. French is a strong advantage.
- Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate
