What You’ll Do (Essential Duties)

  • Clinical Support: Lead the patient intake process by rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, recording medications/allergies, and collecting/processing lab specimens.
  • Patient Coordination: Act as the primary link for specialized care by scheduling procedures and surgeries, coordinating with surgical vendors, and managing physician block times.
  • Administrative Excellence: Ensure data integrity within Electronic Medical Records (EMR), manage complex insurance authorizations, and resolve eligibility issues.
  • Compliance: Maintain strict patient confidentiality and uphold all OSHA and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.

What You’ll Need (Qualifications)

  • Experience: 1+ years of direct patient care experience.
  • Diverse Backgrounds Welcome: We are specifically seeking candidates with experience as an STNA, Phlebotomist, CNA, or Pharmacy Tech.
  • Education: Medical Assistant schooling is a plus, but we welcome all candidates with relevant healthcare experience.
  • Skills: Exceptional customer service, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting, and proficiency in medical record databases.
