Essential Duties
- Training & Development: Create and deliver comprehensive training plans (SOPs, videos, manuals) for new and existing staff using diverse teaching methods.
- System Optimization: Facilitate EHR customization (templates, favorites, and preferences) and manage enrollment for essential tools like Imprivata, Dr. First, and Dragon.
- Workflow Support: Maintain consistent clinical workflows across acute, ambulatory, and home care settings to ensure a unified medical record.
- Quality & Compliance: Develop education for quality improvement initiatives while ensuring all workflows adhere to TJC and CMS standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Use surveys, clinical scorecards, and rounding to evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- System Testing: Conduct application testing during system updates and develop corresponding training materials.
- Collaboration: Partner with operational teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into independent practice.
- Experience: 3–5 years in clinical healthcare and 1–3 years of EMR experience (Meditech preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or an active Ohio RN license preferred.
- Skills: 1–3 years of classroom teaching experience is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, web browsers, and project management.
- Attributes: Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and the ability to manage timelines in a fast-paced environment.
