This candidate is required to assist our current and prospective customers with solutions and services for their needs covering business sectors ranging from but not limited to offshore oil and gas, offshore renewables and government entities. It will be necessary to educate our customers about the advantages of Oceaneering Internationals technology, engineered solutions, technical hardware, and associated software through demonstrations and presentations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential
- Position Oceaneering as the supplier of choice over our competitors.
- Maintain an account plan for assigned accounts. Plans should include analysis of customer spend, estimates of OII market share, inbound order targets, and a clear execution plan to achieve growth.
- Apply Miller Heiman / Strategic Selling principles to account plans, including identification of Buying Influences (Economic, User, Technical, Coach), Win-Results, and Red Flags.
- Ensure regular use of Green Sheets for key meeting preparation and maintain the Sales Strategy tab within opportunities that align with strategic opportunity guidelines.
- Drive early cross-functional alignment on opportunity sales strategy, including BU leads, project teams, engineering, commercial, legal, and other stakeholders.
- Provide clear, timely sales commentary within the opportunity record, including rationale for sales-stage changes, win/loss/no-bid outcomes, and other pertinent updates. Tracked weekly via CRM reports.
- Work closely with the Commercial team to improve terms and conditions where possible, establish customer expectations on pricing and commercial frameworks.
- Share market intelligence, competitor pricing, deal structures, and customer feedback to continuously optimize pricing and commercial strategies.
- Meet or exceed inbound order targets as defined in each account management plan.
- Drive improved forecast accuracy on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis using Power BI and/or CRM dashboards.
- Deliver a baseline forecast with clearly defined upside (stretch) and downside (risk) scenarios on a monthly and quarterly basis using Power BI and/or CRM dashboards.
- Record and report all meetings and opportunities into Oceaneering's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Travel domestically / internationally up to 25%.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee couildl be required to travel throughout Americas (North America and South America).
- Overnight stays for business travel is a requirement and will be of varying lengths from time to time
- Assist in the creation of marketing content.

Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices .
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Reports to the Sr. Sales Manager, SSR & OPG Western Hemisphere.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent related work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in the subsea services Oil & Gas industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering large multimillion-dollar sales results annually, including successfully winning large and strategic projects.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience contributing to profitable revenue generation in the offshore/subsea services sector.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience networking, negotiating, and influencing customers, overcoming objections and closing a sale.
- Working knowledge of and competent in Microsoft Office, CRM and Internet.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using AI-enabled tools to improve sales productivity, account planning, opportunity qualification, forecasting accuracy, and customer engagement.
- Ability to listen to the customer’s needs and develop best-fit solutions.
- Commercial and contract awareness/experience is necessary.
- Detailed and thorough work ethic.
- Be self-driven with the tenacity to work independently.
- Able to receive direction and apply imagination to completion.
- MBA or Engineering Degree
- Intimate knowledge of conceptual and strategic selling strategies from the Miller Heiman program
- Minimum 5 years’ experience selling vessel and ROV-related products lines and services.
