About The Role

We are seeking a driven Account Executive to join our team in Stockholm, Sweden, focusing exclusively on new business acquisition. This is an on-site role, requiring a minimum of 3 days a week in our central Stockholm office, fostering collaboration and innovation. You'll play a critical role in expanding our market presence within the SaaS and HR-tech space, owning the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to deal closure. Your work will directly impact Alva's growth and how organisations around the world make hiring decisions, moving beyond traditional methods to science-based, fair, and predictive hiring.

What You'll Work On

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the SaaS market, actively seeking out companies ready to transform their hiring.
  • Drive pipeline generation and manage the full sales cycle end-to-end, from initial contact to successful closure.
  • Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders across various departments like HR, legal, procurement, and security.
  • Understand customer needs deeply and expertly position Alva’s solutions as the best possible match for their challenges.
  • Present and communicate the value of Alva’s products in a clear, compelling, and persuasive way.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to align on strategy, share market insights, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, pipeline, and forecasts within our CRM system.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales processes and go-to-market strategy, helping us refine how we reach and serve our customers.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven Experience: You have 3–5 years of total commercial experience, with a strong background as an Account Executive or similar role focused on new business acquisition within SaaS sales.
  • Complex Sales Acumen: You're experienced in managing full sales cycles and navigating complex, non-commodity sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Hunter Mentality: You are proactive, driven, and comfortable pushing deals forward, consistently seeking out new opportunities.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You possess strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, enabling you to build trust and long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Structured & Self-Motivated: You are highly organised, self-motivated, and target-oriented, thriving in an environment where you can work both independently and cross-functionally.
  • Bilingual Fluency: Fluency in both Swedish and English is a requirement for this role.
  • Nice to Have: Experience or a network within HR-tech, recruitment software, or psychometrics, and familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
