Senior Account Executive – Corporate & Commercial
We will count on you to:
- Maintain and grow personal relationships and a book of business, contributing to team sales targets.
- Conduct research and analyze personal accounts and core team accounts to understand business needs.
- Utilize risk expertise and knowledge of the industry and insurance market to review clients' exposures and loss experience and develop solutions.
- Execute renewal/placement strategies in collaboration with the Placement, Advisory Leader, and Client Executive.
- Assist in presentations to prospective clients and develop innovative solutions to gain new clients.
- Identify expansion opportunities for personal and team accounts, leveraging an advanced understanding of internal service and product offerings.
- Define the strategy for custom solution development for the team portfolio, communicating sales targets and expectations.
- Attend industry events and conferences to build a strong professional network and represent the company.
- 3+ years of experience in a commercial insurance environment.
- Insurance broker's license.
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of general business functions.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize work, multitask, and meet deadlines consistently.
- 5+ years of experience in insurance broking.
- Sound understanding of business and organizational risk management.
- Prior experience managing a portfolio of complex accounts.
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of insurance and strategic client engagement.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Tier 1 FSRA Compliance is essential, and a tertiary qualification is highly regarded but not essential.
