Senior Project Director | Infrastructure Operations

Employee-Owned | 1-2 Days Onsite


About the Role

Our client is a leading multi‑billion employee‑owned construction firm with a long history of delivering complex, high‑profile projects across a diverse portfolio. This role sits within a high‑growth technical services group that leads large‑scale programs across North America. You will own the delivery of data center development, fiber expansion, and other mission‑critical infrastructure, setting direction for multi‑disciplinary teams and ensuring programs meet the performance expectations of top‑tier hyperscaler partners.


What You’ll Own

  • Setting delivery strategy for large, multi‑disciplinary programs supporting hyperscaler data center and network infrastructure.
  • Translating client requirements into clear direction for engineering, construction, and field teams.
  • Driving schedule, cost, and scope alignment across all phases of mission‑critical work.
  • Leading capital and workforce planning to ensure resources are deployed where they create the highest impact.
  • Identifying operational friction and implementing changes that increase delivery speed and predictability.
  • Maintaining execution stability when priorities shift or client demands evolve.
  • Upholding technical accuracy and quality across design, build, installation, and final handoff.
  • Building alignment with senior stakeholders inside the organization and with hyperscaler partners.
  • Ensuring readiness for critical milestones including commissioning, cutovers, and go‑live events.


What We’d Like to See

  • Experience leading large‑scale capital or mission critical infrastructure projects such as data centers, fiber deployments, or industrial builds.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders through clear analysis and decisive recommendations.
  • A leadership style grounded in ownership, accountability, and technical fluency.
  • Experience guiding teams through high‑pressure delivery cycles where timelines, budgets, and uptime requirements converge.
