Electrical Engineer | Full-Time | Hybrid | $80k - $120k | MI, USA | Medium Voltage
Location: Greater Detroit Area (Hybrid)
Industry: Power Distribution & Electrical Equipment Manufacturing
We are seeking a Medium Voltage Electrical Design Engineer to join one of our growing clients' engineering team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2-12 years of experience designing medium voltage electrical equipment or switchgear
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D for electrical design work
- Strong understanding of single-line diagrams, schematic design, MV systems, IEEE and UL standards
Responsibilities
- Design and develop medium voltage electrical systems and switchgear assemblies
- Create and maintain single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical layouts
- Support manufacturing and assembly teams
- Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing capabilities
Additional Information
- 3-4 days a week on-site (greater Detroit area)
- Salary range: $80k - $120k+, 10% bonus, excellent benefits
- No visa sponsorship available; US Citizens, Green Card holders, and TN Visa applicants only
