Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while developing and executing account strategies
- Research prospective clients and build relationships with key decision-makers
- Prepare and deliver proposals, manage a sales pipeline, and support pricing and quoting activities
- Achieve sales targets through effective negotiation and customer engagement
- Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring strong client relationships and long-term partnerships
- Monitor account performance and support profitability by addressing issues proactively
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, operations) to support project execution
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and business opportunities
- Apply technical knowledge to support customer discussions and evaluate opportunities
- Follow company quality standards and support compliance with internal processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10 years of experience in sales and business development.
- Experience with plastics, automotive adhesives, or injection molding.
- 3–5 years of strategic business planning experience.
- International travel may be required
- Japanese skill is a plus
