Design Associate

Overview

As a Design Associate at Herald Wholesale, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with customers in a professional and friendly manner, actively listening to their needs and offering expert advice on our products
• Assisting clients in selecting lighting, bath, and hardware products that suit their design preferences and budget.
• Collaborating with designers and builders to create cohesive design schemes that incorporate our products.
• Managing client relationships from initial contact through to post-sale follow-up, ensuring their satisfaction and repeat business.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations.
• Maintaining a clean and organized showroom environment to showcase our products effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a high-end or design-focused environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A passion for design and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and calculating measurements.
• A background in interior design, architecture, or a related field is a plus.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
