Key Account Manager – Rare Disease | Switzerland
An established organisation specialising in rare diseases and is expanding its commercial presence across Switzerland and is seeking experienced Key Account Managers to support regional growth and stakeholder engagement.
These field-based roles will focus on building partnerships with specialist healthcare professionals, treatment centres and key stakeholders within the Swiss healthcare landscape.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with specialist physicians, hospitals and treatment centres
- Support disease awareness and patient access initiatives within the rare disease space
- Deliver regional account plans aligned with commercial objectives
- Work collaboratively with medical, market access and cross-functional teams
- Identify opportunities to improve stakeholder engagement and patient pathways
- Maintain a strong understanding of regional healthcare dynamics and reimbursement environments
Profile
- Experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or specialty healthcare sales/account management
- Background in rare diseases, orphan drugs or specialty care preferred
- Strong knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system
- Ability to work independently while managing regional priorities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
