Perform Business Analyst responsibilities for a Reinsurance Administration application which provides a comprehensive solution across the Reinsurance lifecycle of Underwriting, Claims, and Accounting, including:
- Gathering requirements and documenting Functional Specifications and User Interface documentation.
- Documenting as-is business processes using Microsoft Visio. Defining and documenting to-be business processes.
- Acting as the liaison between Business and IT.
- Collaborating with internal teams for analyzing cross-functional impacts and defining integration requirements.
- Providing support for QA testing and User Acceptance testing and defect resolution.
- Managing the backlog of enhancement requests in JIRA. Working with Business to prioritize enhancements.
- A minimum of 10 years Business Analyst experience.
- A minimum of 3 years working in Reinsurance, with solid Reinsurance Underwriting, Claims, and/or Accounting Business Acumen.
- Demonstrated experience in gathering, documenting, and prioritizing requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. Strong attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders. Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders on large initiatives.
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- Experience with the DXC SICS Application a plus.
