1795 - Account Executive, AV
Job Overview:
Reporting into the AV Senior Executive or Account Manager, The AV Account Executive role is to support the AV team in the day-to-day running of client campaigns. An eagerness to learn and understand the principles of the TV market is imperative, along with a basic understanding of cinema and the wider video landscape.
You will be responsible for a range of tasks within the AV department, largely centred around administering and buying of TV, VOD. A gradual understanding of the AV tools necessary for the job - TechEdge, BARB, MediaOcean, MScreen, OneAV Planner, the OMA & OMS systems etc will be gained via on-the-job training along with more structured training sessions.

- Strong communication skills – listening, written, verbal.
- Detail orientated with strong analytical skills
- Highly numerate
- Excellent organisation and problem solving
- Effective time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
- Demonstrable interest in your clients’ businesses and their respective market
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both with colleagues and partners
- A pro-active willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Proficient use of powerpoint and excel is preferable.
- Accurate Campaign set up and activation.
- Preparation and sending out of weekly TV spot times to clients.
- Ensure best practice buying approach across all the Accounts you work on, utilising the One AV approach. Being on top of buying admin is imperative i.e., ensure accuracy of numbers and reporting by ensuring reconciliations are agreed and up to date and the central rec tracker is accurate
- Ensure accurate spends in TVP/DM
- Support on response to briefs from the Planning Department
- Input on competitive analysis reports for clients
- Input into client PCA’s and reports for the clients you work on
- Ensure all financial procedures are adhered to, and your accounts are SOx compliant
- Generally, support your manager in any ad hoc requests that come into the department.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors on a day-to-day level
- Show a genuine enthusiasm to learn the skills needed to be an AV Planner Buyer

- Manage your own workload effectively, with support from your Manager, escalate issues to them when necessary.
